On Friday I met up with Cllr Russell Boam, the excellent councillor for Valley Ward on North West Leicestershire Council. We had an interesting chat about local issues, and particularly about crime and policing. This is generally a fairly low-crime area, though the theft of tools from vans is something of a problem, along with the stealing of vehicles themselves. It would seem that the local police are on the case, which is great news.
