I have been receiving several comments from retail businesses and eateries about the increasing crime problems that they are suffering from - including shoplifting, vandalism and even attacks on staff. While I was in Anstey last week I went to talk to some of the business owners about their experiences and views. I was particularly taken by the views of Sharon who runs the Nook Corner Cafe. She had very firm views on the usefulness of CCTV as an important element in crime prevention in Anstey. As you can see in this video.
And she served a spectacularly wonderful Full English Breakfast too - I heartily recommend it.
