Given everything that is going on in the world of policing, I was pleased to be invited to take part in a Zoom Conference with Home Secretary Priti Patel and a range of Police and Crime Commissioners from across the country. We discussed a wide range of topics, including the tragic death of George Floyd in the USA and consequent events in both the USA and the UK. We also discussed serious and organised crime in the UK, police budgets, forthcoming legislation and a host of other subjects. A fascinating afternoon.
