I am sorry to hear the news that David Davis has resigned as Brexit Secretary. I know that he has the best interests of our country at heart and the decision he has made would have been very difficult one.
During the 2016 Referendum Campaign I was Campaigns Manager for the “Better Off Out” organisation, campaigning for Britain to leave the European Union to take back control of our own destiny and to take advantage of the exciting opportunities that exist outside of the restrictive Customs Union and Single Market of the European Union. For that reason I was delighted to welcome the position of the Prime Minister in her Lancaster House speech in which she set out a vision that embraced that future and promised to implement the decision of the British People, as expressed in the European Referendum of June 2016.
I wish new Brexit Secretary well in helping to achieve this.
