Today I was honoured to visit the Ramgarhia Gurdwara as a guest of the management committee. This is a very welcoming gurdwara and I was delighted to be able to talk to those attending about the importance of the Police and Crime Commissioner role. I then went to the Langar Hall for tea, and to talk to individual visitors. I also had a chat with the Committee. After leaving I went to visit the site of the new Gurdwara which is taking shape at Northfields. The building work is in its early stages, but already it can be seen that this will be an impressive structure when it is finished.
