On Monday 28 January I hosted an event in Westminster to promote local food and drink producers from across the East Midlands. Since I became the MEP back in 2017 I have been working on promoting local food and drink.
Gemma is at the helm of a family run business in Lymn Bank near Skegness. I welcomed Gemma and her brother Matt to Westminster last Monday where they bought along some of their cheeses for us to try. Lymn Bank cheese is an excellent family run business with local values. Their cheese is available via their website listed below.
Lymn Bank Farm pride themselves on handcrafting quality cheeses sometimes taking 2 years’ worth of nurturing to develop a cheese. They currently have three ranges; Lymn Bank Barrels, Nibble Nose and Artisan cheeses. My personal favourite happens to be the Just Jane cheese that supports the restoration of a Lancaster Bomber. Its creamy texture comes in a Wax mould that allows for a fresh taste.
Lymn Bank cheeses were well received in Parliament with many eager to purchase some more online. A small range of Lymn Banks cheeses are also available in the Lincolnshire Co-op.
