In the General Election of 2019 Labour started with a massive 27,000 majority in Leicester South. Fortunately the Conservative Party selected the excellent Natalie Neale as their candidate. I was delighted to be able to accompany Natalie on some of her visits and to go out delivering leaflets and canvassing. Natalie managed to get the Labour majority down to 22,000 on a swing of 3.3%.
