We’re looking for a Digital Media Officer on a full-time permanent basis to join our modern and creative team as part of the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to make a real difference to the communities of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
You’ll be joining a team that takes dynamic action, delivering the traditions of British Policing in a modern, innovative and inspirational way.
As our Digital Media Officer, you will manage the OPCC social media accounts, developing content that will grow the number of followers and interactions. This will involve creating graphics and editing digital material for use across our channels.
Working with the Communications Team, you will raise awareness of the Police Crime Commissioners work, successes and promote the achievements of our organisation. You will be using your communication skills to build productive relationships with colleagues and partners and be able to influence, challenge others and contribute your ideas.
By developing the force’s use of digital technologies and identifying emerging techniques, you will enhance workforce awareness and morale, public consultation and support our objectives to enhance engagement and campaign activity.
